When it comes to a person’s character, attitude, and behavior, there are so many honorable traits to admire. One personality trait that I admire is resilience. Having the ability to get knocked down and still have the enthusiasm to get back up and try again shows true dedication. Thinking about this personality trait, I am reminded of a quote I like…
”Falling down is a part of life; getting back up is living.”

If we all gave up the first time someone told us no or something went wrong, the world wouldn’t have airplanes, Microsoft, or even integration amongst genders and races.
Another personality trait I find admirable is confidence. I chose confidence as one of my commendable traits because I have always struggled with this quality, as I know many other young women in America have. According to New York Behavioral Health, two recent studies have been conducted that show how self-esteem levels can be linked directly to the amount of time spent on social media sites (https://newyorkbehavioralhealth.com/social-media-use-and-self-esteem). With all of the negativity present in this world, I am delighted when people are able to have confidence in themselves.
The final personality trait that I believe is worth recognizing is optimism. Unlike confidence, optimism is a personality trait I have never had much trouble with. Finding a way to look at things in a positive light makes my life happier, as well as the lives of those around me. I am continuously praised for my optimistic outlook on life, and I am ecstatic that this trait is able to come so naturally to me.
